.At Little Chefs Academy, sessions are led by Abby Eogan, a qualified chef with over 8 years of experience working in professional kitchens. Abby holds a Level 8 degree in Culinary Arts, along with Level 5 and Level 6 qualifications as a Special Needs Assistant, giving her a unique combination of culinary expertise and experience supporting children with a wide range of needs.

Abby is passionate about helping children develop practical life skills through cooking in a fun, safe and supportive environment. She believes that cooking is a valuable skill that builds confidence, independence and creativity, while also encouraging a positive relationship with food.

Each session is carefully planned to be engaging, structured and inclusive, ensuring that every child feels comfortable, supported and proud of what they achieve. Abby works to create a welcoming atmosphere where all children can participate at their own pace, try new things and enjoy the experience of cooking.experience working in professional kitchens. FAQs

  • Little Chefs Academy provides cooking programme from children aged 4 to 18, including primary schools, additonal need settings and special educational needs schools.

  • We offer a 6 week all inclusive programme, where children learn basic cooking skills in a fun, educational and hands on experience. Each class group gets an individual workplan designed especially for specific age groups. Each class includes stickers, worksheets and recipe cards which turn into the childs own recipe book. At the end of the 6 week course each child receives a certificate to say they completed the course.

  • Sessions usually last 60 minutes long, giving students time to prepare ingredients, cook their recipe and clean up afterwards.

  • Yes! We provide absolutely everything needed for the programme, we provide all ingredients, equipment, recipe cards, worksheets and rewards such as stickers and certificates for children who take part

  • There is a set fee of ten euro per student per class. there is no set number of people who can take part, we take small groups or large groups.
